great pictures! chapeau! do you shoot handheld with this combo?

after having owned the zony 24mm 1.8 i switched to the sigma 30mm and never look back. FoV is much easier for me to frame interessenting shots. with 24mm there was often too much in the frame. ...

.. and also: - much better battery life - i can use one batterycharge over 1-3 weeks. on my a6500 it drained after few days (same old (a6000) battery). - much better AF in low light (-2EV vs -1EV ...

i wonder why everyone is only comparing sony to fuji bodies when u will need lenses to use it anyway? pricewise the fuji eq. to the sigma 1.4 trio is much more expensive (i got all three for ...

maybe but thats highly subjective. there are ppl that claim the sigma 30mm has a fast AF and u can take fotos of your toddler coming towards u.... sure u can. but with 90% out of focus and maybe 2% ...

i had the 50mm - great sharp lens with oss (useful in certain situations) but the AF is really slow. indoors i can be too tight if u dont want to make only headshots or live in a palace ;) i now ...

its quite good for what is is (cheapo kitlens) bad light - lots of shadow push which the a6000 does not handle that well, still good if u ask me sharp enough if u ask me - focus motor is fast but ...

if it has good high iso and AF is at least on par with a7r3 i would buy it. but i would only use it with the inexpensive and small primes: samyang 45/75 and fe28, Voigtländer 12/15. lets hope for ...

camera backpacks fail at one task: being something more than a camera bag. after trying loads of them iswitched to a normal hiking pack with seperate camera insert or sometimes i use a crumpler ...

i guess thats because the R models dont have an AA filter. i observed that with my a6400 and now sold R3 (18mp aps-c mode) too. :)

for me its the 10-18 hands down. u cant beat the versatility of a zoom especially while travelling... just check for decentering because there (used to be?) some QC issues on this lens. its worth ...

i had the r3 for a year with the fe28 and the fe55. its quite small sure but id still prefer an a6xx body. also prefer the smaller aps-c zooms. waiting for a7iii prices to drop or an a7iv as i dont ...

im also wonder how the tamron performs on aps-c. sometimes they are quite cheap on the used market (700€) vs the 16-55 new (1300€) - never seen one used. my fe16-35f4 is quite sharp on aps-c but ...

i think there are many threads about this topic here already. all of those come with some compromises. i personally would buy the 18-135 in a kit with the a6400 (1189€ here) as its the same price ...

i really liked the 70-350 on my r3. its sharp and has a nice weight to carry around. i would even use it on a 24mp body without hesitation. r3+70-350 in aps-c mode. slight level adjustments in gimp ...

i vote for: a6000 + 18-135 much smaller and a really good lens.

DR is already superb for such a "small" sensor. i doubt any of the older lenses will do any good on a 32mp sensor. afaik christopher frost reviewed the sigma 30 1.4 on the m6ii and found it suffers ...
