Actually changing the DX coding solves one of the issues I have with DX. With your suggestion I can shoot the film at 1/2 the rated ISO of the film. Thank you.

Are there any comprehensive databases of P&S film cameras from the 1980’s and 1990’s? For example I’m looking for a list of P&S that do not have DX coding but user adjustable ISO settings.

A no-frills, entry level version of the RX1R II, but 1/2 a pound lighter would be interesting.

Speaking of entry level cameras, once in a while I want to shoot with a lightweight, full frame camera and not think about technical stuff. So, today I went out shooting with a simple Canon Sure ...

OK. I was under the impression the the rocket blower had to have those three legged supports, but any blower that stands on its own is a rocket blower. Thank you.

I have noticed that many of the sensor cleaning videos recommend using a Rocket Blower to blow off dust. Is there any ultimate benefit of using a Rocket Blower instead of a good, run-of-the-mill ...

Hopefully this observation is not one that's been repeated ad infinitum, but I searched before posting this question. Is it important to match the paper surface I'm using to the checkbox for that ...

I remember the real old days when cameras came with 50mm lenses and someone would joke "I want a lens that goes from 28-200mm and about this big - showing hands about 4" apart. Of course, everyone ...

The Canon RP with 35/1.8 is a good size, but weighs about 27 oz. For now a used Sony RX1 is what I will consider. I was wrong, the camera I want does exist, but it will be a used one. Thank you for ...

That camera with the Canon 40mm f2.8 would be nice.

17 oz. is about right too. Thanks to all for the RX1 suggestions.

Fuji XF10 is $500 APS-C sensor. Multiply by the crop factor 1.5 and you have $750.
