I will wait for the Fujifilm 70-300,
as Fuji glass is the best ( of course in my opinion )

If I had the money for a Nikon D5 I would buy the Fuji GFX instead its no
brainer, better camera and IQ
but then again they are for different photo styles

lightandaprayer: These images remind about what photography is really about: witnessing and sharing the amazing wonders of this world with people, capturing the essence of life in all its glory and pathos.

I'm not thinking about resolution, corner sharpness, or any other arcane technicality that photographers think are so damn important. It all comes down to the emotional response to the subject and the sense of amazement and wonder evoked by the image.

Kudos to all the winning photographers.

great reply lightandplayer its just about capturing the image

Mateus1: Nice lens for family shots, but if you shot at f2 portraiture at closer distances and make larger prints, forget about it, its very soft and you have to sharpen the images very aggresive which spoils the image.

Its rendering is also rarther ordinar compared to 23/1.4 rendering.

I can print large prints from my X-T2 just fine
since they have SUPERIOR Lenses and IQ is second to none

FantasticMrFox: Everyone goes on about Fuji colours - I just don't see them. These colours don't look any different than what I get out of my Pentax. Am I doing it wrong?

Yes

stevo23: The form factor is wonderful. Maybe Fuji will start updating other lenses with WR.

Yeah a 70 x 300/400 would be good in my opinion

Yeah the Fuji is just a little ahead yes and I am a little bias because I own the Fuji X-T2 but I did own the Pentax K3 for a year
and it was a great camera and still is
I started getting big problems with it locking up and shutter not working
also the flash would fire when it was in the closed position
so it was time to get rid of it
I will buy the K3 upgrade when it comes out
have a nice day all

Adobe rip of scheme,
I'm glad I have Serif Affinity and on1 Raw,
they may not be as good as LR & PP but they are getting there, and customer service is 2nd to none,
where as Adobe treat customers as a cash machine,
and there after sales service is C-AP and they still can not sort the bugs they have with Fujifilm cameras when using jpeg above 1600iso

since when did the pound = the dollar the exchange rate at the moment is
$1.23 to the £1
and the correct price should be £365.37p here in the U.K
$450 = £365.37 that's what the price should be in the U.K
but as usual we are being ripped of here in the U.K.

Looks like this will be the best camera of 2017

I hope the 80mm for the X-T2 doesn't cost anywhere near these prices
