dansclic: I understand how emotion CAN drive a buy option for pentax. But from a certain price tag, émotion makes room for réflexion and reflexion leads people to more established lines which have an enormous Lens program. As you said, buying thé 15-30 and 70-200 make à lot of money ! They should have proposed a 28 mm, 35 mm and a basic 85 and maybe 70-200 f4. This basic equipment could meet more customers.....

Right, why rely on old used FA lenses when they can be produced! The old FA ones I tried on ebay were were with some sort of haze, fungus etc - maybe that is the reason why the end up on ebay. Good ones will never be sold!
Besides, what does Pentax/Ricoh gain by people buying used lenses!

Anastigmat: It is true that Pentax users have a hard time getting lenses for their cameras, because Pentax discontinued the FA line of autofocus lenses for film cameras when it stopped making film cameras. In fact, when Pentax became popular selling its first DSLR with the in camera shake reduction, used lens prices skyrocketed until recently, when prices plunged because of a slow down in consumer spending and in the DSLR market. APS-C cameras will always be around, and in the future it will be restricted to the entry level market. No doubt about it. The world is moving to FF. In the not too distant future, cameras like the K-1 and D810 will become mainstream cameras, and prices will fall below $1,500. We will likely see entry level FF models selling for less than $1,000. By that time, the only cameras with APS-C sensors may well be mirrorless cameras, because the reflex mirror simply makes APS-C models the same size as a FF DSLR.

I would love to see an option of FF that is without much of the bells and whistles. As consumers start shifting towards FF when they are now below 2K, it would even be more appealing as prices fall below 1.5K to 1K
