I think neither Fuji nor Hasselblad can do anything beyond 33X44. The lenses are limited to that size. Any size larger means a completely a new camera and set of lenses. How and why did they settle ...

@Bigsensorsbest, Actually I prefer 24mm because if you use it on a crop body (APSc) it is still wide(ish) around 35 or 36mm whereas 28mm becomes about 42mm. We are spolit with choices.
