Matt Random: Looks like they increased the 'Pro for Sony' price. It was $30 for v8 and is now $50 for v9.
Not very easy to find, indeed.

You probably made a mistake and didn't realise you asked for an upgrade from Express 9 to Pro 9 for Sony (first tab on the left) instead of an upgrade from Pro 8 for Sony to Pro 9 for Sony (second tab on the right).
I've tried it for a few minutes (CO9 Express for Sony) and it /seems/ notably snappier. Is it just me?
redisred: Really bummed they changed the contrast engine, the main reason I used it was because I loved the look of the hue-shifting contrast tool they had before. Now it's doing a similar and annoying approach to what Lightroom does, I wish there was at least a way to choose old or new.
Maybe you could try keeping the CO8 engine in CO9. Don't know if it would work the way you want contrast-wise, though.

Actually it was increased a few months ago for v8 too. Was 23 EUR first, then 50 EUR, and now 50 EUR again for v9.
I'd like to get the uncompressed RAW option for my good old RX100, but I guess this will never happen. :(
compositor20: with this you don´t run out of 1 color since it uses all color in 3 or more times the printer thermal head burns the dye into each paper so if it has paper for 100 prints it means it has also dye for 100 prints. Its sublimation printer not an inkjet. But its expensive none the less.
Indeed they wouldn't talk of 2-pl droplets if it wasn't inkjet.
