Randy Moog: Can someone tell me if the Z6ii can shoot 14 bit at 12 FPS or 8 FPS? And does the A7iv do it at 5 or 6 FPS? Some say 5 and some say 6. And finally does the R6 do it (14 bit) at 12 FPS with its mechanical shutter?

Miko, you’reprobably the type of guy that likes MP3 as an audio format too….

darobin1: The burst performance on this camera is pretty disappointing compared to some other options on the market -- have to wonder

Right

KodaChrome25: DPR wasn't satisfied with just the Canikon-Sony Wars. Now they're jumping in on the Mac-PC Wars.

Don’t forget the Nvidia , AMD war

theBitterFig: I'll tell you what Sony should do with this sensor--put it in a camera of their own.

Just as different lenses have different uses, different sensors could, too. FF for low-light and shallow depth of field. M43 for the absolute fastest speeds. APS-C in the middle ground.

Getting the sheer speed of this kind of sensor in a sports camera might make a tonne of sense. As fast as the A1 can get, m43 can get faster than FF. Maybe that's somewhat of a niche, but the system would share the same lenses as the rest of the E-Mount, so it'd be a less unjustifiable niche.

LX100 mkIII it should be

Missed? I think you omitted that on purpouse
”Up to 10 fps shooting in lossy Raw”

V Ahrlenz: So I guess if the doorbell rang one quiet Saturday afternoon and some person on your doorstep handed you a sturdy, plain brown box, and said, "You have been selected for a free, brand new K-1 Mark III digital SLR camera and a 21mm Limited ED WR companion lens, compliments of Ricoh, Inc." some of you would just sigh, dismiss them with a wave of the hand, step back inside, and quietly close the door?

I would be impressed that there was a K-1 Mark III

Maybe its Germany stone age broadband situation that comes into play here, and not DPRs fault

ShaiKhulud: Cool demo, I guess. AF cube sticking in viewfinder =/= sharp image though, so let's wait some real world tests.

So far sounds like a solid camera. 20fps is kinda behind the current 30fps curve, but if the price will be around A9' mark and not close to A1, I think it's still be a winner.

As Sony do

It’s not illeagal to do a teaser , Shown here by Sony.
It’s just that some Supporter of a four letter camera company has been all over the place stating that ”their company” , (shareholders no doubt ), don’t do teasers
And that it’s a shame to do that
Pretty pathetic

ChelseaPhotographer: Sony should just go for the kill and price this at $1,999. With the deepest pockets in the industry, they can certainly afford it.

”They can easily kill Nikon”, what a Sony boi.
Nikon will still be making cameras when Sony pulls the plug on it’s Sony Corporation (mobiles, cameras and other stuff)

Believe it or not it is PENTAX who offers a nearly complete APS-C and full frame systems. I will not name Q system.

tbcass: I think Nikon is making the same mistake Sony does in hyping a new product so much that it can never live up to expectations.

Sony’s hype is their specifications with a lot of asterisks that they have to put in because they can’t be honest

How about Pentax life Zakaria, is there much left of it?

AlephNull: I have been wondering why the R3 has such dismal battery life. The R5 and R6 aren't so bad, are they?

Is Canon's stacked sensor a massive power hog? That would make me wonder if it will suffer overheating issues.

It can't be the EVF, can it? The EVF they are using is far short of the one in the A1 (more akin to the EVF in the A7R4).

I'd be curious to hear if someone has analysed what's draining the power of that enormous battery.

Rubber you know you will never afford a R3 or an A1 on you hairdresser salary
