Just a comment as to why there are so many bird photographs when there are
”current or appropriate challenges to display“ them into?

Thanks for your comment - it was taken as a bit of fun as the chicken was very interested in the camera. Not a lot of 'treatment' it was just an overcast day.

The washroom was an 5 shot HDR edited with photomatix software. The man looking into the mirror was edited with the HDR sliders in photoshop 5 to give a grunge effect. Your pic is amazing and has given me some inspiration - well deserved 1st place.

I don't normally vote in challenges I've entered as it's hard not to give your own image a good score. However, you've asked for my vote and I'd like to know what's the best thing to do when I vote for my own image?

I know it's a little over the top - but the rules for the challenge state: •Surrealistic, painterly and HDR effects welcome.
However the realistic images did a lot better in the voting. Thanks for your comment anyway - nice to know someone took the time to pass an opinion.

Well that excludes the southern hemisphere.......

I liked the picture of the old washroom so grunged it up. I felt there was something missing so added the mirror and the face. It still needed something so I added another person. I like it.....
