If the background blow, face is visiable. If sunset seen then face is dark.
YOU CAN NOT BLOW THE BACKGROUND AND SHADE THE FACE AT THE SAME TIME!!!

A year of shame for dedicated photography... A year of victory of capturing the moment (core photography and documenting).

Ben O Connor: When panasonic will introduce the new GM cam with 20mpx. smilar even better video or at least smilar 16mpx sensor with in body stabilization and a Mic input. For 2/3 the price (800 $/ £/ €) no-one will remember this one.

And I personally wonder, why anyone want much smaller additional screen and calling it EVF ? Seriously guys, find yourselves a Pentax apex sensor DSLR camera or just get a fujifilm hybrid one... And enjoy the photography!

I agree the comments on Lx100. For several reasons I don't own one.
I also surprised to hear; many other system owners still (prefer) to own a rx100 serieseries cam. My reason to own it, is the underwater housing. Nothing else... (I am obviously not a pro.)

marc petzold: That Nikon was built into 1948, as the Title says - i know this design from old Camera Gear Websites...but the truth is, as nice & cool looking this Nikon is, that Design was being cloned, copied from Contax, namely the Contax II.

For Comparsion, check here:

https://www.cameraquest.com/zconrf2.htm

And the Contax II came out back into 1936.

I'd love to see a Nikon FF into this Nikon I or Nikon S(2) Design.

And, can't say it enough once more - to these billionaire types out there, get the rights from Kyocera and rebuilt the Contax brand, make it famous once again...Contax was way often a Innovator & Industry leader in terms of Cameras, its such a shame they have had let this great german brand being vanished...i want them back, who needs Leica....Contax Zeiss lenses have always being a bit sharper then Leicas, whileas not that being expensive back into their heyday.

Nothing bad meant, i'm just a Zeiss Fan since my Teeniedays...and Contax.

Guys, Watch this out!

Russin aviation documentary confess that they coppied Leicas (at 3:30 of the video)

Right moves to the correct direction. Hopefully Olympus supported genius will adapt a XZ-1/2 or to this accessories.

My old cam back in 2007-2010 was a w150 sony. It was always have trouble to show green tones. Especially some live or glowing green colors were issue.
I also had UW housig and enjoyed it's photos and videos underwater. Good that now Sony brought underwater casing for rx100 series. But none of them (according to specs.) Has underwater mode. In terms of white balance results could be horrbhorrble. One negative point from my view.

Some call it : A huge waste for Nikon. To me it is Nikon's hobby. But if you still want to call it "waste of something", it can be a waste for the buyers who buy it, effort of employees (from engineers to workers) who brings it to shelves or even for enthusiast who are wasting their precious time typing their personal view here (as I am).
Let's see if Nikon really can execute the whole thing! They brought the Nikonos back in the day, hopefully this can be as successful.

Sorry folks, I wrote it all capital letter to hope, maybe Pentax would hear me. And since the retro looking stuff is popular, why not make something looks like bolex 8mm cameras if yesteryears :)

Japan was the China of previous decades. Many knock-off products were complied there. As well as in Russia. I remember the first FED cameras were the Leica knock-off, which they found it in an American bomber plane...

Ben O Connor: Medium format often preferred by studio photography or landscapers. In both speed is usually not a priority. I think viewfinder of any types (chimney, eye etc) will never missed. And if that system will be below 5000€, even I can effort one without losing my marriage :D

I just noticed the price... I love my wife! Bye bye hasselblad. :D

(Maybe I have to change my job, and get one of this beast to have my studio! )
