Ben O Connor: It had to be F4 constantly to deserve "Leica" name on it! Seriously, too expensive for an ordinary tele...

I wished to own one... But I can't.

As a GM1 owner, this lens would be awkward on my cam. And Tele issues (focus tracking etc.) that many complains about...

In the other side; there is K-S2+sigma 50-500 (smilar F power) little bigger in size (yeah 100-400 is pocketable!!!!!!!) and similarly priced!!!

Just not sure on that lens

Great move sigma! I used to own 30mm F 2.8 back in E-PM1 days.. Best street shooting angle! Not too wide not too Tele like... And now F 1.4 from sigma (affordable + high quality)! Can't wait.

Ben O Connor: Biggest difficulty in a long road is the first step! Now Pentax made that first step. I believe it will grow and remain in the market.

Kudos to Pentax

(PS. Dear pentax, please lower your K-S1 price with a prime kit! I really wanna own your product but I am a broke bloke! And I love my wife :) divorcing is not an option to me!)

Nice story Marc :)) thanks for the wishes

Ben O Connor: Congrats Panasonic! Now there are more GF cameras than Olympus PL series cameras!

Nothing else really!

The deal is; why new model name, while IT IS %100 SAME WITH ITS PREDECESSOR!!!

Just feels ridiculous

(PS. I own GM1 and love it!)

O-M-G!

They made a "new" rangefinder looking cam which has a flash, evf, hot shue, multi angle, good grip, not huge body one!

Take it as your example MicroFourThirds producers!!!!!

On article Hands-on with the Fujifilm X70 (263 comments in total)

Beautiful design. I will only miss the screw type shutter button, but just for few minutes, not longer. And there are various vintage and new voighlander, zeiss, leica ovf's out there. I would skip the Fujifilm ovf. Especially for the silver body.

Great new stuff. Loved the tilting touch screen. And it is totally open for vintage ovf's or metal voighlander 28mm precise ovfs.

Sad part is F2.8! It should be F2.0 at least. And why not new sensor? Do they afraid selling more?

jonmcphoto: let's see now, 49 thousand dollars. that would be 10 Sony A7R2s and every lens Zeiss makes for that system. Then enough left to take a vacation and come back with some pretty nice photos. Yep. i think that's what i will do.

It´s not a camera "to spend money", it´s The Camera, makes you a pro photographer and by it you can "earn money" !

Man! It is a 0,1 billion pixels & cost about 0,05 millions of US $ !!!!!!! Makes it very reasonable product (pixel per dollars ) to invest.

There is one name in chopper business: DJI.

Keep your action cameras and equip people with it, who are about to jump off from a chopper!

This could be the last year of dslr's considered as "gear of the years".

Technology evolved so much that even I hate to loose OVF, the mirrorless is "The Thing" both in photography and videography.

On article A lot to Leica? Hands-on with the Leica SL (Typ 601) (1514 comments in total)

ImageQuality seemed great on the huge screen, I have no doubt that 24mpx full frame sensor generates great resolution.

There are 4 in Finland now, and I got one in my hands minutes ago!!! Awesome :)

LEICA SL.

WHAT A MACHINE! it feels like it carved purposely for my hands (I am 6" 183cm , can hold size 7 basket ball in my hand!).

AMAZING ERGONOMICS AND BEST EVF TO DATE! The first evf that I did not dissapointed, even amazed.

Thanks to Kokkolan Kuvatiimi (Kokkola/Finland) for this handheld experience! Such a great surprise for an ordinary Saturday
