Ben O Connor: Dear Lenovo/Moto whatever... Please make an agreement by Olympus. They had such a great camera coupled with strong optics back then called XZ and Stylus camera range. Those cameras were very strong in terms of photography that Pentax and Casio also made their own (Pentax MX-1 , Casio ex-whatever)
Olympus can make such camera which has lacking of rear screen, where we can stick a moto x camera by its 16pins magnetically. And photos can record directly to phones memory as well as sd card!!! And when we don't use the camera, it can be shut down and phone can be taken off from it. It would be a FANTASTIC VALUE for motorola/Lenovo and for us Olympus lovers, who are really keen on final image quality at any conditions of any photography!

Thanks Taikitso. That magnetic pin stuff is excellent (looks like). Things can be connected without being fiddly.

So why not make a HiFi mp3 module (the phone has no headphone input) or proper p&S camera with proper controls (except for the rear screen!) ! Instead of a projector really, which is also a good idea just may not suit masses.

Ben O Connor: Typical Chinese branding

Well, brands has a production facilities in China has excellent product in terms of reliability. (Apple, Sony, Panasonic... Simply anything!) But Chinese companies are usually copying stuff (stuff; A to Z !) Don't believe ? Check Beijing auto show you'll see what I mean.

But now, finally! We have Huawei, which is very serious and confident company. They made deals with Google (Nexus 6P) and Leica (P9)... But... Hang on... suddenly, something very un-Huawei. Disappointing.

Ben O Connor: Just another reason to keep away from i-slavery!

Well, it is not slavery. It ia just a bad marriage with a windows phone !

She is so capable of EVERYTHING! Yet she can't, because she is married. I don't allow her bitching with all apps of any stores :D

Apart from joke; yes, app wise Lumia 1520 is a bit unfortunate. But still, I want to decide myself to take photo where! It's not a partnership! I own the F...KING phone?!

A must visit place in India. (For the record; I watch a street medium/large format photographer video on youtube. He was shooting photos and developing the thing in the broad day light! In the middle of the busy street!!!! Everyone in India are talented, it was another problem(?) for them to maintain)

Are there "anything" to fix about that camera ? Even for previous version of it (D800) ?

Please Nikon, do something useful. For example; make 50mm F 1.4 FX lens and D810 combo price for 500€ for a few days :D

Yahoo bought it (success) but could make it social as instagram (fail) then made it awesome (great resolution) kept it free for 1TB space (wooow) and now for sale...

Hopefully who ever owns it, won't require another mail adress.. And actually, yahoo could keep it, I can pay up to 2,99€/Year for the excellent service of Flickr... No need to sell!

On article Great Eight: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 review (537 comments in total)

Meh... I own Lumix GM1, according to DPR (which is %90 truth, %10 editorial view) it has better Jpeg, raw and lowlight/HighISO performance.

Video is not as good, built quality is poorer (No weather sealing!) and better ergonomics (for big hands)... BUT GX8 can´t fit your pocket and many more...

No Thanks, please Panasonic; next GM camera with 4K, tilting screen (without hunch!) and a underwater housing (why not built in lens to the hausing! 35-100mm F 1.8-2.8 apeture and enables macros... who need tele underwater ? )

Suddenly you realize the importance of a tiny winy built-in pop-up flash!

I kinda buy the thing; because ergonomics are better for my big hands compare to GM1. But in the other hand; such huge body, yet small sensor! (old ass Leica M's carry a full frame sensor in smaller body!!!!)

And it has "that feature... this spec..." but they were not able to fit a small flash in to such bulk!!! (they could in GX7!!!)

Also that would be exotic to have an optional battery grip... Exotic I mean "Fantastic" side

Ben O Connor: They did not mention the size of sensor... it is probably smaller than my cellphone, in A.D. 2016.

Ridiculous!

If same Sony cam will come with a hasselblad wood grip... Then yeah you'll be right. ;)

Ben O Connor: It had to be F4 constantly to deserve "Leica" name on it! Seriously, too expensive for an ordinary tele...

I wished to own one... But I can't.

As a GM1 owner, this lens would be awkward on my cam. And Tele issues (focus tracking etc.) that many complains about...

In the other side; there is K-S2+sigma 50-500 (smilar F power) little bigger in size (yeah 100-400 is pocketable!!!!!!!) and similarly priced!!!

Just not sure on that lens
