Ben O Connor: Sorry to say, any other aspect ratio than 4:3 is unacceptable in "Ben´O Connor Standards"

16:9 surely "The Aspect Ratio" for video and most landscape photos. BUT 16:9 is hedious aspect ratio for portrait. That´s why tablets are much better for option, unfortunately they are not capable yet. Not because "They can´t " its all because "the firms wants this way" !!!

I wished to see a surface pro tablet/PC hybrid with a 4:3 aspect... but they don´t have it.

I am a microfourthirds user. Viewing my native images without comprimise (no lack in sensor/megapixel, no crop on a tablet or computer screen) makes more sense.

But I love viewing my favorite landscape images on TV. And whenever I shoot panorama, better watching the 16.9

It should be forbidden to make any larger camera than Gx80 body for M43 makers. Body/sensor size ratio is ridiculous.

Why paying big, carrying bigger and have a small sensor ? This is the segment that we see small and capable cameras as GM1, GM5, GX80... what the joke is this !

M43 is bugger than apsc (this one!) Full frame smaller than GX80 (Sony Rx1)...

I prefer compactness as long as price won't differ more than 200€ !

Ben O Connor: A panasonic GM5 coupled with 15mm 1.7 leica, looks exactly smilar to leica Q :) much smaller and budget friendly packet.

One interesting fact, why smilar F numbered and almost exactly field of view (28mm -15/30mm) lenses has different style of lens hood !

What I hate about the flagship cell phone is their price. 800€ WHAT DA F@€K !!! More to that, accidents happen. My gorilla glassed Nokia 1520 has broken glass and become a chimp ! And set me back 350€, the phone was 650€.

But more of that, flagships are not good hi-fi devices (they can play mp3 though) not easy to handle with 6inches or more screen (They can replace a tablet though) their camera is ok (but not near as good Pentax q for example!)... '

So they do everything with a comprimise limitation. But They ask for huge price tag! Sorry, no more! A samsung J5 2016 is best I have. with its 150€ price and replacable battery. They replaced the Nokia battery for 60€ !!!!!

Ben O Connor: When you think of history of art, those are the steps;
-painting on a cave wall
-carving relief on stone
-making the statue (3D)
-drawing realistic pictures
-drawing surrealic pictures
-photography & filmograpy

And now VR. you can be part of someones fantasy or vision. Or witness to something at highest realistic level.

The art after all, is touching our 5 senses. For now vr can touch our sight and sound. Imagine a vr which makes you taste smell and feel the textures!

What is matrix
?

True. It is at the very beginning and it can apply to many areas. Imagine you are reading Dracula novel and you smell blood. But yeah... so many issues to bear. And ethics hasn't even considered!

I bought the Q from a final sale! I bought her only for collection purpose, since it is THE SMALLEST inter changable lens digital camera.

I use and invest in micro four thirds. Q has never been out of my house. She can go to new dedicated fellow photographer.

On article Here's why your beloved film SLR is never going digital (285 comments in total)

Today's technology DEFINITELY achieve such devices as it shown under "failed attempt" headline.

If you can fit a digital camera TO A CELL PHONE!!!!! old film cameras has enough real estate to accommodate a sensor and battery.

(p.s. I always dreamed to have even build such devices as it shown in that article. Especially after project monster cam photos.)
