Nope. Which, for Canon, is weird. Apparently the other manufacturers (Sony, Nikon and Fuji) use rows of blue photosites with masked microlenses, which obviously aren't very sensitive to the red...

Only problem with the T90 is that the model tends to die from electronic failure, which is often impossible to fix :(

@northlarch: You got the point indeed, and have defended it nicely. 👏👏👏

Just now, an idea occurred to me - you can just use the camera in e-shutter mode. It’ll be a bit nerve-wracking, I guess, but with that you don’t run any risk of messing the mechanical shutter up. ...

It’s the distance from the flange (the bayonet mount interface, where the lens bayonet meets the camera’s) to the imaging plane (film or sensor).
-
Do you know how much it protrudes into the camera? It’d have to be more than 20mm to be worrisome, in my opinion. Leica M has a ~28mm flange focal distance, which is still generous.

I can set something up if you tell me what you need (apertures, FLs, distances to target, focus point positions). I own a brand new S5 with the 20-60mm. My personal impressions are that it’s ...

YES. I like many of the solutions proposed by users here, but honestly just three RGB settings (AF point selection, focus confirmation in AF-S, AF-C) would be a huge improvement already.

@Abrasive: Erm, no? The Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L isn't even twice as heavy, and less than 50% longer, for example. A lot more expensive, yes, but it's also effectively a stop faster, has better...

Honestly though, those possibilities are already widely available. Olympus developed an incredibly comprehensive in-camera color customization system with a simple interface. Panasonic's own JPEG...

Now this is a rare sight: a candid, refreshing and unique take on gear. And on DPR, no less! Thank you for sharing your perspective, it's certainly very interesting, and rings true to me.

LOL, no. Relax. It wasn’t meant as a dig, it was an honest question. There used to be a lot of “regular consumers” around here. The forums were swamped in extremely rudimentary questions, to the ...

How long have you been on these forums? I can confidently say that traffic was at least 5X larger back in 2011, the best year ever for digital cameras. Sure, if you polled average people across ...

I like this trend of zooms that go out to 20mm. The rumored price was nuts, but at $1,100 it seems quite reasonable. And if gets discounted as a kit lens, that could be very tempting.

Thanks kli, that’s an excellent summary. I didn’t know there were so many different Godox triggers.
-
No, you were saying that the Z5 didn’t fit that bill, when it actually does almost to a T. Mag alloy, good sealing, IBIS, not much larger. The only thing it lacks is a proper vertical grip. That’s ...

You sound just as hyperbolic as the trolls, though. I own an RP and I’ve experienced problems, especially with digital corrections on some lenses like the 16mm f/2.8 and 24-105mm IS STM. ...

It can use the MB-N10 battery pack, which isn’t a ‘grip’, but neither do its siblings. Only the mark IIs have that possibility. While we’re on the topic, where’s the RP’s battery grip? And what ...

I gather you’ve never been on an African safari then. In those, you usually want two cameras with two lenses, like a 70-200mm and a 100-400mm (or longer if you’re birding). This lens can cover both...

That would be quite good, a grip with a fast M.2 connection, an SSD bay, and an extra battery. That’d be an insta-buy for many filmmakers!
