Outsider: $6,000 dollars for that camera? I'm sure there are people that will buy it and good for them. Whats next $8,000? They are pricing themselves right out of the market. Freaking unbelievable.

The price is completely fine and normal for such a device. The old 1Dx did cost the same, didn´t it?

Tomasz_Wk: It looks sharp wide open with a nice bokeh.

Really? I find it rather soft and even considered a focusing issue. Image 3, 7, 1 where is the focus point? It looks soft or out of focus to me.

The colours are hideous too.

scrup: Title had me. Let down when it was for 4/3 and not L

If it was for L mount, it would cost double that und it would be double the size and weight, at least.

sknai16: In my opinion, you made a mistake. Nikon will have the third lens out by ext year and what if you want to print your pictures? In IQ terms, there is not even a competition!

As if you couldn´t print m43 images large :D

Manzur Fahim: For once in a lifetime trip, I'd sell the current gear, save more money as the trip is next year, and get myself a used GFX 100S, 23mm and the 100-200mm. And if I can afford it, maybe a 23mm too. I'd like to have the highest possible image quality for my once-in-a-lifetime trip.

He wrote that image quality is not his priority.

@iamraz Really? I thought Hans & Heidi in Wetzlar Germany would have created this lens over beer and Schnitzel and that is why it´s so expensive.

Is this one new? I feel like the E-M10 IV is fairly old, but I could be mistaken.

@ DarkShift

That explanation makes sense, although it makes the comparison tool (under conclusion of the review) useless.

I don´t know either camera, just referred to the comparison tool and saw that the a7R IV seems to be "better".

Why not use large format? Then you got enough time to train the birds to sit still.

io_bg: Left side still looks softer. Performance looks quite worse compared to my $280 Rokinon 12mm f/2 lens.

I own the old version of the 10-24 and the Rokinon 12mm. It´s no contest, the Fuji is tack sharp at all apertures compared to the Rokinon wich has low contrast and is softer. My old copy of the 10-24 is rather perfect but the new one is just another zoom lens.

Looks really good, sharp, great colours and some magic but why this aggressive image processing? Even shots at iso 100 show some noise.

If you don´t see the sharpness, lack of fringing and distortion than you must be blind.
