@m_black, and yet Nikon sells fewer in a shrinking market?
-
@photography-lover,so deny my claim and say it looks good. You blindly defend everything Nikon. It may be the best lens ever, it may function great and be light, but there is no denying it looks...
-
sorry, but that lens looks ridiculous on this camera. https://4.img-dpreview.com/files/p/E~TS1180x0~articles/2220920732/0AD258BD-6846-42AA-8DA3-5F9A49C3C3C4.jpeg it is like some point and shoot...

good, now possibly another manufacturer can pass up Nikon AF. Canon did with the EF mount and stole the market. Sony did it again in mirrorless, pushing Nikon to 3rd place.
-
lol, any 100mp nikon will be a year or two after a Sony 100mp camera release. It is really nice that sony lets nikon repackage their sensors after a time...
-
stacked sensors will take a while to filter down to $2,500 cameras. They will filter down based on actual manufacturing improvements not wishes or wants. I'll bet this sensor utilizes the same...

@DustSpeck said "I don't think I could trust them to maintain the RF mount into the future either. " The EF mount has not been officially discontinued, and I'm sure Canon will repair many many EF...
-
I'm betting they used EF communication tech in the mount, but with a built in adapter so it connects only to RF. Canon is "Ok" with them using EF at the EF flange distance, but won't let this be...

I wouldn't want that in my cat video either (and I don't even have a cat).

@Thoughts R Us, but they are still shrinking more, fading away into irrelevancy. Olympus and Pentax make great equipment that their fans love, but get little interest from the majority of camera...
-
@Thoughts R Us, so Nikon's profit is up a whopping 48%, yeee-ha. Nikon's revenue is 145 billion yen with profits of 15.3 billion yen. Please look up Canon's revenue and profit and post it here,...
-
@Thoughts R Us, I never said Nikon was going bankrupt or out of business, they are just fading away as their market share shrinks. It will take some time, but they are headed for fewer releases...
-
@EclairzRed, ok. Panasonic and Olympus will welcome Nikon into their "small market share" friends group, and all the love and benefits they get. edit, forgot about Pentax

@Thoughts R Us, "very well" lol. Nikon will never recover their lost market share and will have to work hard to hold off Fuji to keep from falling to 4th place and be lumped in with the "other"...
