In reply to:

Barry Twycross: Does the camera have to be digital? And can it be from before the merger? (I.e. a Minolta.)

Sure.
And it doesn't have to be digital.

I am hesitant to delete any entries.

The voters will decide.

This is to the person that filed a complaint against this photo.

On challenge Macro - Where did it go? (6 comments in total)
In reply to:

Mond: Michael, your definition of a macro that it is perhaps a photo that has been blown up to larger than life size only makes sense if it can be posted larger than life size. The posting restriction of 1600 pixels precludes that definition.

Maybe you ought to leave the word 'Macro' out of your challenges and just make it a free for all?

Agreed on the voter part.

I prefer the voters choose - they are smart.

I didn't make the rules of what a macro can be,
actually, I read it here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macro_photography

I've had this discussion so many times that I am almost to the point that I will not reply to comments about what a macro photo is.

Truth is, the voters nearly always vote the photos they don't think is a macro - they vote them down.

So let the voters decide, I say
