Carlos Loff: What the hell happened to the D200/D300 outer frontal/lateral AF switch with AF-C / AF-S options ??? Now it is just AM/AF ??? MY GOOD - CRIME CRIME CRIMEEEEEE

I know, I know, now we press it and dial on the small screen, but I loved the way the manual option switch worked because I could change it with just one finger in the dark

It is obvious you have never use the newer camera. There is no need to take the eyes off the OVF!
When you press the AF button, the AF info will display on the OVF, top and back LCD screen (when applicable). All setting (AF-C, AF-S, 3D, Auto Area etc are done here, never need to go to menu.

Please tell us how do you change between the AF options such single point, 3D tracking etc again? Don't tell us you love menu diving.

On article Nikon fills in the blanks on professional grade D5 DSLR (538 comments in total)

Provided that supplying 2 different memory type wont cost.them much headache and.cost, this is a very welcome move. Let the customers make the choice as no matter which way nikon choose, it will still seen as wrong if only produce either CF or XQD only.

WOW, -3 EV AF

"...the AF system has been improved with the ability to lock on to subjects in as little as -3 EV illumination, a first for any Nikon D-SLR."

This is pretty much 1 shoot kills 2 for Nikon (5d3 & 6d).
