Igas: Why is Lightroom still on 9.6? My X-E2 DNG files do not open in Lr, but do in Ps.

Thanks for the heads up!

I see what you mean. In fact, on the Lr splashscreen I have installed presently, it says "ACR 9.6." None of my DNGs created in my X-E2 open when I click to enlarge from the grid view, or attempt to develop in the develop module. I have to open in PS (ACR 9.6.1 that has recently appeared in the CC update applet. Hence my question: why does Lr still seem to be using the old version of ACR? Is it possible to jump-start the installation of the new Lr, rather than wait for Adobe to push it via their CC applet?

Look up Tracey Emin if you really want to be critical.

I'm with AP on this one. What I don't understand is how a Pulitzer-winning photographer managed to do such a sloppy piece of cloning. It is so obvious that he cloned from the centre part of the picture, beneath the gun magazine. Unforgivable if not incredible. What was he thinking!

W5JCK: The lighting on the girl is way off. Just a quick glance and my brain says this looks odd. A closer look and she and her trunk are well lit from the back and sides, which of course would not happen in an outdoor shot with the sun in front of her. also, the rain doesn't look right.

Agree W5JCK. And is it raining or sunny?
