Kodak Signet 35 bought used in the mid 60's. I used my dad's GE light meter. The Kodak was a rangefinder and I've liked them ever since. .

First digital? Sony Mavica used for work to replace a Polaroid. Images saved on 3.5" floppy disks . My first personal digital was a Canon G1 quickly followed by the first Canon Digital Rebel that I bought because I could use my Canon EOS film era lenses. Yes I could use the but even at 6 megapixels they were crap.

Now I use a Fuji x pro 2 to somewhat recapture the rangefinder vibe. I keep flirting with the idea of getting into Leica to complete the circle.

A used Kodak Signet 35. A rangefinder. I've always wanted to have another rangefinder (I did have an an Olympus RC for a while. If only Leicas weren't so expensive!

Perhaps the real problem with Canon is that it's trying to protect its DSLR line at the expense of mirrorless.

We know how well that strategy has worked elsewhere (Kodak, for example)

As a Pediatrician I can't skip mentioning that this sort of activity can cause a "nursemaid's elbow". Painful and a causes a visit to the doctor or hospital.
