Right...I have GX8 and i can tell that i never regret that i bought it...Before i bought GX8, i had sony a6300 (i didn't like AF speed at all) and Olympus penF ( AF was just ok, no 4K and bad menu system). So now i have GX8 and i made the right desicion finally. For me GX85 is small to hold, specially with tele lens like 100-400mm. Viewfinder is little small for me as well.
Anyway , it depends what you looking for...But for sure that Panasonic is making great cameras (I used LX100 also, it is also a good camera) and you will be happy no matter what will you buy GX8 or GX85.
Good luck...

GX8 ; Excellent Viewfinder, Weather sealed, articulated LCD and protection, lots of custom buttons for pro use, 20MP that has more crop ability, great balance with tele lenses like 100-400mm, not small not big, wonderful grip, max 1/8000 shutter speed (mechanical), NFC etc.
GX85 (GX80) ; Additional stability for video, internal flash, smaller, cheaper, new shutter mechanism, No AA filter etc.

Volkan007: I felt myself lucky because i already sold my a6300 and 16-70mm 2 months ago because i didn't feel comfortable when i use and AF was not that fast as my GX8.

A6500 looks good and have really nice features. Many A6300 users may want to upgrade it to A6500 but it can be little bit more pricey :(

No...Not six months, i sold it in one month after i bought it. Nowadays second hand price is not good for a6300. I am happy not to go with a6300, thats all. I hope you can get my point now.
