I've never had the 'battery anxiety' with my 6x9 Fuji GW 690 III - it doesn't have any battery at all! According to the statement this must be a pretty future oriented camera, even better than any CaNiSoPaOly.

CaFuNiOlyPaPeSo.

There...fixed it.

NB: Hasselblad and Leica - not forgotten but excluded.

Jim Evidon: Studying Cartier Bresson is alway time well spent in order to learn composition. The subject tome by Glover is confusing and overstates the subject IMO. There is a better site that can explain HBC's compositions and I think it is a better teaching tool than is Glover's. Click on the following website and enjoy:

Agree.

Absolutic: Can someone tell me how to translate these focal lengths and apertures in full frame equivalents, it is just easier for my head to understand...... What number do I divide it by, 1.5?

@SimenO1
R = aperture Ring on lens
WR = Weather Resistant
LM = Linear Motor

(Before I get hammered..the 2.2 is only in terms of dof equivalence...)

23/2.8 = 18/2.2
45/2.8 = 35/2.2
63/2.8 = 50/2.2

On article Alpha dog: Hands-on with Sony a7R II (1122 comments in total)

This looks like an amazing camera... But somehow it doesn't quite grab me as the X-T1 does...I know its specs are quite a way behind the A7RII but I've taken a liking to the X-T1's everything's-right-in-front-of-you approach to controls, not to mention the aperture rings on the lenses. More affordable, 'wieldy' lenses (which the 35/f1.4 isn't for example) needed! I might just jump for an RX2 with fast AF and EVF though....

Stunning!

If only this camera also had an a6000-like speedy autofocus, I'd buy it.
