No news yet, interesting.

I put camera so much in front, with both hands, that I can at all time and photograph and see backscreen settings. Never an issue, and trust me i did use the d810 top screen exactly like you describe.

I still have lots of question about this camera. Does real time tracking (as in you decide something with a detectable shape in the image) and the camera follows it, still exist? Or is that AI...

I didn't follow the market. I started with A7RIII (just before RIV launch). The time i bought it, i had 3-4 years D810, so Two years into the d810 (bought used at half price to much later then...

I like it on Nikon D810 But honestly once i used A7RIII and A7RIV it's was so easy with the much better EFV then the viewfinder overlay of D810 and the screen is also very well organized, easy to...

Think the IBIS also makes it weight more, if they use a more complex metal in metal moving plate construction (and not the relative simplistic design of A7RIV and older, it might explain weight a bit.

Agree with DCSteve. I had d810 from Nikon and amazing camera, but in mirrorless waited 2 years and chose Sony. Mostly because lens choice (Sigma and Tamron and nice GM's). I also was super...

Thanks for review. While a bit heavy on my wallet, a lot of improvements are so nice i feel it's hard to resist. It also for the first time feels that if i get this camera, i can actually almost ...

I disagree completely with the verge's opinion. Especially from A7RIV. A7RIII my pinky did slide off, on A7RIV it doesn't and the improved design makes it easier to grip. I'm having a pleasure ...

I have the 12-24mm GM (mostly lucky cause i got icredible price on it), and the 24-70mm GM II. While a bit wider and tele are always nice, the 24-70mm can do almost anything i want, especially on ...

Great choice, i had the Sony 24-70mm GM (sold, not to happy with it), have Sigma 24-70mm dg dn and Sony 24-70mm GM F2.8 II (second version). Even though i had the GM II now, i still am impressed ...

Thanks a lot for this test! It's really helpful. Wow it lot of images could be 65mb, even 75mb, that would be absolutely amazing, and probably worth the pricy tag of A7R5. When i do double week ...

Yes that's a good point :) However also a gamble. Like there was a 50mm F1.2 rumor, i think the lens is delayed cause the 50mm Sony gm is taking to much sales and took them by surprise. But as i...

Glad i'm not alone. Also version 20. Was almost gonna get 23 for panorama, but thought i want A7RV and some recent lens releases supported, plus panorama is useless if it cant correct perspective...

Agree. I skipped two years because of corona/renovating house. I was thinking hard about recent update but decided i want panorama feature to not be with release issues, so gonna wait another year,...

Dpreview: Bit to negative on the 600mm imo. The church shot (600mm) at lenstip.com is plenty sharp in the stones. Seen much worse xxx-600mm lens results. Also you claim 600mm would be mose used:D I...
-
I disagree, watch the church sample image on Lenstip.com, i've seen way worse images from telelenses.
-
@Koemans this is exactly why i went from Nikon DSLR to Sony E-mount. To keep being able to use fantastic lenses like this. I own Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG DN and it's everything i can dream about it for a...
-
Have you checked sample images at lenstip.com? The church 'landscape images' show razor sharp tree branches, seen many telelens do worse tbh :) This lens is sharper then Sony 70-300, 70-200mm F4...
