  • Here's a few from our trip in 2015. Yes they have been tonemapped! But they give an idea of this less popular area. Just proves you don't have to fight the crowds at the 'other' parks. There was a ...

  • Anyone in this area needs to go for a drive south on highway 141. (Start just south of Grand Junction). Magic scenery and an almost deserted road. regards

  • Doesn't the whole debate really depend on your expectations of what you will end up with quality wise? regards
  • I don't see the point having a dslr and not using it. We travel overseas up to 6 months a year. Have done so for almost 30 years. I love the fact that I can bang away and store a zillion images ...
  • Created discussion thread LAB
Simple question. How many readers here regularly use LAB mode/color space? And why? Or why not? regards
  • " Some of the old masters' paintings are dark because they were placed close to chimney. " Now that's an argument I struggle with. Some may have been affected by smoke but many may have been ...

Thanks folks. I was lazy with the first edits. And didn't spend much time on the others either. I use a number of editors with varying abilities. I like the nodes in Krita that allow me to push ...
