Thanks very much Franco. This is great. So at $399 I would be at the top end, but still sounds worth the price. Ronnie.
  • Thanks for this. A lenses are not as abundant as the M lenses, and generally a bit more expensive. What is the difference between a K lens and P/K lens. Would the P/K also work. I'm just wondering ...
  • Thanks for that.
  • Thanks Doug. That is all I need to know. I don't have too much problem with the weight of the 1.4. I carried a 150-600 Tamron around quite a lot :) Ronnie.
  • Thanks for the info. Is the main difference between the 1.4 and 1.7 wide open? I don't use wide open often, so could get by with using the lens from f2/2.8 The only reason for looking at the 1.4 is ...
  • Thanks Doug. I will look out for the 1.7, but the older Pentax lenses are not freely available here. I can get from the USA, but shipping is about as much as the lens. But if the lens is about ...

Thanks Dave. I dry fired quite a few times, but without opening the back. It just sounded good. Shutter speeds changed quite nicely. Maybe I did not do any real checks, as the camera is in such ...

Thanks Andrew. Yes, I'm aware that Chinon is/was not a top brand, but seeing as it was given to me, I think I will stick a few rolls of film through. I don't plan on making it a big thing, but just ...
