  • For the UK, I have used MoreThan (Royal SunAlliance) for over 25 years and they have been fantastic to deal with when I've had to make a claim.
  • Created discussion thread Big Canons & L-Glass or Sony & G lenses
I’m a hobbyist photographer for years and have gradually moved up the equipment curve (presently using a Canon 7D Mark II and Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II lens). I like it, but aware I’m not getting ...
  • Replied in M.2 SSD drives
Yes, I have multiple high speed drives in the same chassis.

Uhh, You do realise you're in the "PC Talk" sub forum - where people talk about computers? That's bulls**t.  Seems everyone on here has hard drives literally filed with many hundreds of GBs or TBs ...
  • I fully agree with you. I use a mix of Namesco & GoDaddy (we've only had GoDaddy past few years in the UK). Similarly for little more than about £50/yr, I have domain hosting for 5 sites and 100 ...
  • There are some videos on their site showing the PS functionality.  No, it does not have the extent of customisation of the top gaming keyboards (however for my personal taste/use, I find all ...
  • Replied in M.2 SSD drives
In running programmes that utilise the hard drives heavily (like 4K video rendering) or file archiving to encrypted files that give you a speed to three decimal places. PS and LR are pretty much ...
  • Get a "real" email service; get your own domain and mailboxes - this only cost about USD10/yr now and will take you 5-10 minutes to set up? I'm referring to POP3, IMAP, or Microsoft Exchange not ...
  • Just bought the new Logitech Craft keyboard and have been using it for a few days: Logitech Craft Keyboard It is a really well-made premium keyboard (better than their prior DiNovo Edge premium ...
  • Replied in M.2 SSD drives
Actually there is a big difference. I have both Samsung PRO SSD and Samsung PRO NVMe M.2 in the same computer.  The M.2 is over 5x faster in practice and testing. Yes, expensive but really good.
  • Per the posts above; UHS-3 has only recently been announced. UHS-I, UHS-II (and UHS-III) are "types" with UHS-II and UHS-III having a second row of contacts. See: https://www.sdcard.org/developers/ ...
  • Just pointing out that Wex didn't buy Calumet.  They are sister portfolio companies.
  • Likewise, I stopped using SyncToy and moved on to Acronis True Image. Good software, but I wouldn't call it fast.
  • It's not a takeover by either firm.  Both Wex and Calumet are owned by the same private equity group (both were acquired in mid 2016). This is merely a merger of the two portfolio companies for ...
  • Yes, it will work and is a better card than the first one you listed.
  • Sony RX100V. I've presently got a RX100IV and these are fantastic cameras; great lowlight and also 4K video up to 960 fps. I quite like the pop-up electronic viewfinder and DSLR-like controls ...
  • Good call on the Samsung 960 Pro. Regarding cooling have a look at Noctua Heat Sinks http://noctua.at/en/nh-d15.html
  • I've been using SyncToy 2.1 on Win10 for well over a year and never any problems.  Using it for syncs to two separate internal drives and three different externals. I've tried some of the other ...
  • Have a look at a Noctua CPU cooler Noctua They are quite inexpensive and work great
  • Calumet can reduce the deposit/insurance cost if you can show them you have your own cover.  I got a letter from my insurance company for them.
