Faintandfuzzy: Ah, where's the 3:2 aspect ratio? Most labs in North America use 4x6 as the standard print size. With 4:3 or 16:9, I get to waste time cropping each image. No thanks.

It looks at if, when shooting RAW, you only get 4:3 also. So if you were hoping to frame 5:4 or 3:2 in RAW, then you're out of luck. Manual says [of RAW mode]: "Recording pixels will be set to 4000 x 3000". I find this slightly annoying as my 4-year-old (12 MP) G9 suffers the same malady. I prefer Panasonic GF1's operation in this regard.

Also, in JPEG modes, why does it offer 4:5 at 2400 x 3000 (7.2 MP) instead of 5:4 at 3000 x 3750 (11.25 MP)? And while on the topic, why doesn't 1:1 mode record 3000 x 3000 as opposed to the listed 2,992 x 2,992? Almost silliness.)
