The IBIS is very different from the X-H1 and smaller!
-
Well Greg, IBIS is useful but not mandatory for me. I still use the Lumix GX8 which has IBIS, and at the time I thought I needed it. But since then I bought a X-T3, I've come to realise I don't....
-
- Not all people need IBIS (like me). - Some people prefer the tilt screen (like me). - Some people prefer less size and less weight (like me). - Some people prefer a lower price (like you).

All camera's have limitations.

Looks like the IBIS is the biggest news here. Kudos to Fujifilm for advancing this technology!

This thread is about a new camera, not about you.

Fujifilm, that's a nice touch with the Still / Movie mode. Now add there also, C1 C2 C3 plz.

You don't use a 1 second shutter speed on such a camera. IBIS is not needed, it only makes for a bigger and heavier camera. Normally 1/60 is the slowest I'd need to go.

If you can't shoot without IBIS, you're not a proper shooter.
Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
