I was sold a 70-400 ssm a couple weeks ago for 320 euros, I was very pleased by the deal. I could still be tempted by something like minolta 35 or 100 f2

I agree when you say that those cameras handle sub freeze temp. I disagree about battery life span. It depends certainly of the version of the camera. I know that battery life of A7m2 and 1 is just ...

Hmm the question about inflation could be turned the other way around: A7m3 had a price point of 2300usd of 2022. I wasn't surprised (chocked) by the msrp of A7m3 compared to msrp of A7ii. I ...

As I said I wouldn't consider the test flawed. Sure it's not a brick wall, but it's a realistic in-situation use case. And moreover it was shot on a tripod not handheld which pleads even less in ...

That is also a mean to justify (understand not impact), the msrp of A7iv... Because logically it should have been sold the same price as A7iii at launch as they are the same level of camera.

I agree with you here. Sony isn't anymore the only one to propose FF Mirrorless and it's not the manufacturer proposing MF Mirrorless yet neither.... Competition is always a good thing for customers.

Well tinkering is always fun anyway ;) You'll be a happy new user with this new cam' :)

Having used A7ii and A7Rm2 and owning A7m1 I'm sure the A7m3 is well ahead from previous versions. Concerning the kit lens, despite the fact that there arz plenty on the market, I still can't find ...

Well if the result works for you that's great. ( Just a side note, but I guess you already know it. You can't compare 24mpx apsc vs 24mpx FF, as the 24mpx apsc have an equivalent of 50ish mpx FF). ...

IMO the real added value of A7m3 compared to A7Rm2 are the battery life and the AF. But in your case I'm surprised that you'd consider going back from 42mpx to 24mpx...

I'm not into event but I had rented an A7Rii for a trip and the wedding of a good friend of mine. I had grip and 2 batteries + adapted A-mount lense 28-75/2.8 + Nissin flash. I liked the results ...

I think you should ask this on the Canon EOS forum: probably more people using bird eyeAF there than on the Sony side atm.

The corners are just very mushy in your shots. I agree with others argueing the methodology as you didn't use MF to focus on the same point. Except if you say that you AFed on the same subject ...

Hey there, I think the case of A7m3 is a bit awkward and I'll tell you why. I would put A7m3 as the same level to A7m1 for 1 very specific aspect: times of experimentation for Sony. The A7 line ...

Thank you for your answer. I have read your answer and I consider that we are aligned/saying the same. Apparently I misunderstood you when you mentioned A68 originally.

Hello there, Thanks for your comments. Nice set of street photog you do. Well I rented an A7Rm2 years ago for a 1 week trip to Praga. * LAEA3 was working smoothly with 28-75/2.8, but the AF was ...

Absolutely reviewers until A7Rm2 were very skeptical at hybrid mirrorless technologies and barely reviewed them correctly. First they didn't know nothing about the AF systems of Sony (exxept for ...

Indeed as long as the tool is superseding the needs, no need for a new tool.

Thanks for your feedback. I wouldn't say that this camera is an "oldie" though as you define it otherwise any DSLR even a latest Nikon D6 would become an antiquity :)

Hey there, It is clear that you mentioned a budget and I will agree with some previous recommendations here. But here is my first advise: You don't want to go E-mount APS-C. Why? Because E-mount ...
