Artak Hambarian: I am looking for a small gripped body, smaller than my Nikon D7000, gripped.

I got a Z50 in my hands and seriously considered switching from my x-t3 to a Z50.

Many people buy SUV and never go out asphalt roads. So maybe this new "adventurous" OM-1 will make people who buy it feel like "adventurers" (however poor-spirited they might be).

Peter Zentai: Interesting camera but why would anyone choose this over a Fuji XT4?

Perhaps some smaller / lighter lenses, ND, and handheld high res mode? But let's see if it can catch up with Fuji's IQ...

For me too, this is the main point to consider.

LightCatcherLT: this system doesn't deserve all the hate and "skepticism" it receives. It's such a nice and enjoyable system overall.

I agree, Fuji's menus are not the best, but I find myself using them much less thanks to all buttons and dials.

I had a e-m1. I could never get used to the menu system. I was too many times wondering why the camera had entered a state I could not go out from.

Is there a way to use C1 HDR feature to blend two images like a foreground and background image in astrophography?

Matpan: I wonder how will this new batch of computers will play with the "right to repair" debate going on. Apple has not been friendly to that corner of the userbase for a looong time. Sadly, as it was the brainchild of Wozniak, who had a completely different vision. Instead we got Job´s "dumb it down for the masses" version of Apple in the end.

I would like to see more companies take Framework´s , and their modular, upgradable and DIY (if you want to and get it cheaper) approach.

I love Apple digging into this new ARM low consumption ethos. I don´t like their closed form factor, replace the whole thing every X year philosophy tho.

In practice, mac laptops tend to have longer life span than their PC counterparts. But you are right : the fact that PC are even worse does not mean that Apple is any good in this respect. Soldering RAM, disk drives and battery is a shame. And the situation is getting worse intead of improving (my 2014 MBP has upgradable storage for example).

The twitter legend comment about "taking better care of our planet" is ridiculous given how much CO2 was emited for such a useless trip...

I recently tried to physically grab my hands around a k-1, here, in a medium sized (700000 habitants) French town. None of the 5 main photographic gear retaillers had one... And they all told me: we can order it for you, but you'd rather consider another option.

That's what is nice with capitalism: unable to stop global warming, but capable of satisfying essential needs like that.

mais51: Stop buying any more XQD card - I survive on a single 128 GB XQD for now (lost 2 when I mislaid my camera bag) - luckily 2020 is a travel-free year so not much photography is happening.

How can someone be proud of flying a dozen times in 6 month (and mostly for vacation!) when everybody knows that this is absolutely unsustainable with respect to global warming?

First time I consider buying a Sony camera. Smaller and lighter than APS-C flagships!

Velvia is the worst film simulation from Fuji. You need to tweak it if you want to use it.

Thanks. That drop in supply may explain why camera price keep steady despite the drop in final demand. If and only if it is a drop in supply, not the consequences of the drop in demand by retailers.

[Edit: sorry I had not realized that thread was about an APS-C camera...]

It seems there is a 21mm FA in the pipeline. But Pentax pipeline seems quite slow :-(

Yes sure they have a 15-30, but it is expensive and rather huge...
