Because Domke add a water repellent treatment so after using and abusing my canvas bags for 6 months to 2 years I like to reinforce that treatment. What's really amusing is that no one has pointed ...

I think most photographers should be using Billingham bags. Then the Domke user has got the shot and moved on while the Billingham user is still getting into their fashion accessory.

I have two waxed RuggedWear bags. Neither has ever been "messy" The only Velcro on a F-6 is inside to hold the inserts in place. Quite why you'd remove it to silence the bag I don't know. If the ...

I'm trying to remember if Domke had started making ballistic nylon bags in 1997.

With a level of "expertise" like that you should be writing articles to educate photo forum "experts" Maybe some of them will actually believe that you know what you're talking about.

An impressive amount of misinformation in such a short thread.

Pretty much what I said in a post that got deleted. Field craft is far more important than camouflage. But most hobbyists and photo forum "experts" don't want to learn how to get close to the subject.

Mostly Kamasa from the 1970s and early 80s when they were a well regarded brand. Nowadays Snap-on. Because it pays to buy and use the best tools for the job.

I rather like the Kamlan 28mm. My version is in m4/3 mount so I can adapt it to E mount. It's a slightly long standard on m4/3 and a slightly short standard on APS-C

Yes you're wrong. I spray my regular canvas Domke bags with a waterproofing spray for canvas. I have yet to re-wax a RuggedWear bag.
