Yes - sensors don't like red light. At gigs particularly red light is difficult - I call it the sensor killer!

Nice idea but its hard to see how they can make a smaller body than the 6/7 series without ditching IBS and second card slots that everyone now seems to demand.

OK its your trip - no problem. But you specified a whole country not a particular location. So what examples would you give of the difference in lens selection for say Vietnam and France? Or USA ...

This is the the best answer - I have no idea why people think lens selection for travel is mainly location based. Like most questions about photography the answer comes from what the photographer ...

This thread has some really odd stuff in it. Personally while I welcome the invention of auto focus, exposure etc $5500 seems a bit steep for a point and shoot. if there are those who want so ...

The Z6/Z6ii is not "handicapped" on AF - its perfectly fine for most things and is only a bit behind others in very specific situations. Concerts is NOT one of the areas where the AF on the 6/6ii ...

I shoot raw and jpg on my Z6 but hardly ever use the raws - the jpegs are just fine. I don't think the 16-50 is the ideal lens for performance/theatre - it's just too slow.

However you approach it it will be fine - the older 70-200G versions work very well on the FTZ. I always felt that the adapted F type G lenses performed better that way than on a dslr. Probably ...

He says in the title 70-200G so it will be OK whether its the original G version from 2003 or the VRii version or indeed the later FL version.

Yes when I first got my Z6 I too used my 70-200 VRii on the FTZ and it worked fine for music and general work. When I could afford it I did sell it for a 70-200 Z lens mainly because I found the AF ...
