AlanG: You are actually cheating the company by expecting them to honor a price that is clearly a mistake. Especially since the buyers know it is a mistake they are trying to capitalize on.

If you accidentally overpaid for an item and later you discovered your mistake, would you accept a company telling you "tough luck?"

What happened to personal ethics?

Anyone trying to claim a $17.99 drone is a loss leader is really pushing the envelope for rationalization.

This is just like the camera equipment from Amazon that was priced wrong a month or so ago. I wonder how people rushing to take advantage of an obvious mistake would feel if they made a mistake and were massively exploited because of it.

SmilerGrogan: Why not take the moral path and and shop at your local camera store? You'll definitely sleep better knowing you're supporting local businesses and not involved in someone's crazy credit card scheme.

I am always puzzled by this notion that somehow supporting a local store instead of a large chain store or online giant like Amazon is some moral high path. What does anyone owe to a local shop? The reality is that the world has changed and small local shops can't compete and don't make sense for the vast majority of people any more. People voted with their wallet and decided what they wanted. Things change and many industries and professions become outdated and fade away all the time.
