I see. Then the phrase all-around lens is meaningless.
-
How is a 100mm fix an all-round lens?

The 24-105 is excellent. That 15mm at long end is really not gonna make it or break it. I think it's safe the say a 24-120 will never come, considering that there are many other significant gaps ...

On the other hand there is A1 and the A9III. Those manage to be competitive (in my opinion, also vastly more popular) to your examples without being default behemoths. But then again, even if ...

I don't think the S1 line is still alive. It makes more sense to keep the same body (maybe with some tweeks) to keep the cost down. The S1 line was never a success (mostly because of the AF, but ...

Great. I tried, when I crop in extremely, I can see somewhat of a difference, but not anything that worth the large file size. Usecase is limited to completely stationary objects. Can we have the ...

Hey! Sorry I just deleted my raw's yesterday, as I usually do not keep them. Regarding the settings: Lens LUMIX S 85/F1.8 Aperture 1.8 SS: above 1/250 (that was the minimal I set up) ISOAuto (I'm ...

Just run into this issue, had some horrible stripping with backlit images. Did other brands like Sony came up with a solution for this? Are we expecting something from Panasonic or this is what it is?

Ok, so something is definitely wrong here. In your chart you are saying the the 15P sensor size is: 9.8x7.3mm. That's the same exact number as the 14P, even according your own article about last...

Guys... This is not an explanation. I presume you didn't get a review unit to test these out, even if, there is an embargo. All you did was rephrased some of specs and announcements.

And? I wasn't contradicting that.

I guess using the exact same body as the S5II must be some kind of cost cutting measure, but it's so weird. Prices are similar, size is the same, but the S5II has 4x times the sensor size. I...

I'm not able to offer a solution but the S5II is not capable to capture 4:2:2 HEVC (h.265). So if you have 4:2:2 sampling your footage needs to be h.264 in case of the S5II.

“ because anything below 35 is kinda useless for portraits” That is if you want to make the most boring portraits possible.

In my country the A7C, A7III are both cheaper than this. Also, currently the R6II is on sale at the same price as the A6700. So here, this is the worst value camera you can buy if you care about...
