I won't mind if its not as good as the one on the XH1. Even if it offers only a 2 - 3 stop advantage, its still worth having. Something is always better than nothing.

Just look at the Sony A6500. Fuji says their IBIS is better than 'Others' on the market. That's great and everything, but I wouldn't mind having slightly crappier IBIS packed into a XT2 Body style/size. I'm sure its possible. Sony proves it.
Featherchaser: People need to stop confusing mirrorless cameras with innovative cameras. Video started with a DSLR, DSLTs started from DSLRs, Live View started from DSLRs, medium format couldn't give a damn about whether you have a mirror, but yet somehow DSLR=reeeeee needs muh innovayshun and mirrorless = yay! more camcorder in my stills camera yay!
Technically, even mirrorless started from DSLR. They are very innovative. They employ a completely new system of AF and EVF compared to a DSLR.

mpgxsvcd: A 2.56x crop in video makes a system without ultra wide lenses almost useless for video. You can't even use the excellent dual pixel AF in 4K video mode. This camera is just absurd at this price.
If it were $250 it would at least be reasonable as a super budget camera. There are so many better options than this camera.

If this is reasonably priced and offers better IQ than the Zony 24 70 F4 and Sony 24 105 G, then this would be an absolutely AWESOME addition to the FE Lineup.
If this lens has good control on Coma & CA wide open, this might be a new favorite for the APSC Astro-Photography Enthusiasts.
Really looking forward to pricing & tests.
If Sony had launched this lens a few months ago, I might have switched from Sony APSC E Mount to Sony Fullframe instead of Fuji. Sony just need to update the Ageing A7II. Its ISO and AF performance is not up to the mark.

Fuji Picture is using ISO 200 + 4 EV Push = Fuji ISO 3200
Canon Picture is using ISO 100 + 4 EV Push = Canon ISO 1600
So, the playing field is still level. There is no advantage to the Fuji in this comparison.

Sezano: I just stole an X-A1 with all the accessories known to man for $150 on Ebay. I was shocked at how amazing the output is. Blows my X-T10 out of the water, its collecting dust, so much so that now I'm thinking I got a subpar copy. Probably not.
I'm disappoint X-A3 is not getting a better review.

I hope they make a version with an APD (Apodization Filter) like the Sony 100mm STF or the Fuji 56mm 1.2 APD. This is Manual Focus anyways. Even if you loose a couple of stops of light that would be still ok since its a f1.1 lens. If they could improve the Bokeh with that APD Filter, that would be awesome.
