I decided to test again using aperture F22, iso 100 indoor. The image is still bright as if taken with aperture F1.8. It should be totally black at F22.

I manually set my iso at 400. I use only manual mode.

Ok i will follow your advice. But i can't really use zeiss 28mm f2 now as there's a "F22" error which keeps flashing while it works fine on my Nikon D50.

If i use a number of non-cpu lenses and set them the first time i use it, should i set them again in subsequent uses? What's the use of non-cpu lens number?

i didn't use any filter. All shots were taken at f5.6 or f8.

I didn't enter the data before. Now i have gone to the setup menu, set the focal length tp 28mm and f2 as maximum aperture.
