Looks great !
Any Compact EVF Options for it ?
A7S3’s EVF is a life saver when framing on a bright day for a Run & Gun shooter.

Mokutaru: So far all of the content that displayed eye AF during video is set to 1080p, We still don't know if it works in 4K.

This is one of my main issues with sony, Some features might be disabled while using certain settings.

It actually does show, you just need to know where to look, Since i am long time sony user, I always watch out for these things before buying a new camera. They always do this !

Whats annoying is that not one channel on youtube mention that video recording with real time AF is only available using XAVC S 1080 60p.

So far all videos on YouTube be able to enable this option in 4K. Which would be a shame since there is also no 4K 60p.

Cian3307: Notice since Sony also went down the route of a white finish on their tele lenses to counter thermal expansion, no more comments about Canon only doing it as a PR stunt? ;-)

But seriously, if I was invested in Sony gear, I would be very excited about these lenses.

White surfaces is supposed to reflect heat and keep the lens cooler. I think Canon though of this before everyone else and most companies followed. Fujifilms white/silver paint is an amazing example.

falconeyes: I congratulate Chris and Jordan. They have been able to maintain the quality of TCS videos and upped the frequency considerably.

However, having said this ...

Where is the cooperation with the rest of DPR, where are proper video resumees of review work done by dpr, where is the lab input into DPR videos which was promised? TCS on steroids isn't exactly what the world (me at least) was looking for ...

Its free information. Don’t be dissapointed unless you paid for a service

Jens Evensen: Time to sell the Leica CL.. The Fuji X-E3 looks nice!

I used to think the same way back when the X-Pro1 was released in 2012. But to be fair Fujifilm is in the big leagues now.

My thoughts exactly. Since lenses have circuit boards, I want to know what is the correct answer.

By the way the XPro2 is not a rangefinder.

Its not a rangefinder, Its a rangefinder style "design".

Mokutaru: In my opinion what made lots of old photos special back in their days is the fact that photography was not very common. And now that photography is very common its hard to find pure untouched digital photos that look good from the camera without photoshop alterations and then calling it "style".

What i find fancinating these days is when lighting is utilized for photography.

Alrighty guys i think some of you missed my point and i could have made it clearer to start off with. And boy some of you here are harsh.

- Yes photography is the art of light etc...
- Yes photo manipulation has always been there since the darkroom "duh !"

What made a lot photographers amazing in the past is the fact there was no photography pollution, Photography was not a mass hobby and not very common like nowadays. it was a specialty tool, Practiced by those that dedicated their life to master it and perfect it.

I am simply highlighting that these days its very hard to see new photographers as "special" as Ansel Adams. And since a lot of photographers pass on their images to retouchers, I am constantly focusing on their lighting only.

Phew ! I hope that cleared a few things up. 0_0

In reply to:

Mokutaru: To my understanding, X-T2 can only achieve maximum refresh rate by adding the battery pack. Which turns it into a totally different camera in terms of size. So for those that won't be adding a battery pack, The point about refresh rates being better on the X-T2 than the X-Pro2 is misleading.

Got it ! thats for correcting me.

Fujifilm's 18-55mm Kit lens is a great kit lens. One of the best.

As an X-Pro2 owner, i don't feel the need to upgrade to the X-T2. Unless i needed 4K. And at the moment i have my A7rII for that.

Emadn13: camera is so expensive, fuji lesnses are so expensive too
they cheat in iso chart but jpeg quality is good
but the cost for a apsc lineup is so funny
i dont think 1600$ pluse 2000$ glass is worthy for a apsc lineup
they should made FF like sony or they will be destroyed like olympus
for apsc users that begins the photography a6000 with 500$ or 1000$ a6300 can be better option, they can buy FF lenses and use FF camera too
they biuld good cameras and good lenses but in paper always lost

As a Leica M owner i can say that getting Fuji because it will give leica like images is the worst reason to get a Fuji.

Leica M gives the user a different type of emotion before and after taking the shot.

Fujifilm almost gives the user exactly what they imagined 98% the time with their X-Trans sensor. And their film simulations are a major selling point. To me there Leica and Fuji have one thing in common, its that both systems have "A Look", there is a Leica Look, and a Fujifilm X-Trans" Look. And both are very important for the brand and the user.
