I like my G7x but still remember fondly my A650,  With CHDK installed, it became a super camera, esp with its motion detect feature.  Got many fine shots while I was inside watching tv!  :) JR

CHDK also allowed Motion Detect, very useful for wildlife shots such as birds at a birdbath.  I just set up the rig on a tripod and walked away.  Got many fine shots while I was inside watching ...

Never owned a G9 but had the G11 which I loved.  Previously owned the A650, popularly known as the "poor mans G9" and when loaded with CHDK it became a Super Camera.  I still miss it.  Now limping ...
