One of my most successful landscape photos was made with an iPhone 4S. Sold several prints.

Looks like great computers. I’m due for an upgrade. Question is whether to buy a cheaper M1 Mac as they supposedly deal with my FX3 video files just fine.

Great point, trying to decide between RS3 and the mini. Would love the smaller one but the bigger one just seems more reasonable
-
Yeah trying to decide between the mini and the RS3. The mini can’t use the dual handle, doesn’t have supersmooth, doesn’t have a switch for gimbal mode, no auto lock and you can’t switch batteries.
-
I’m a bit sceptical about these max load specs. With tripods I learned to never trust max payload numbers and always have as large a margin as possible if I wanted stability.
-
The big plate on thr RS3 looks like it could fit Manfrotto plates? That true? Just wondering whether it’s easy to go from gimbal to tripod, in this case Sachtler, which uses Manfrotto plates.
-
Does the RS3 have a manfrotto compatible plate? Looks like it. A shame the mini doesn’t do this. Means it’s a hassle to go from gimbal to a pro tripod like Sachtler that uses Manfrotto plates.

Happy for Nikon! Has the most soul and pedigree of any Japanese camera maker. So tired of the “worried Nikon might go under”. Trolls have been writing that for over five years. Whenever you see...

Totally normal price for pro level telephoto. Nothing Leica about it
-
MILC man, I’m an FX3 user and like Sony, but you really are too much. Have you even used the lenses you’re talking about? The Nikon 800mm has very fast autofocus. There’s no bird, machine or...

Couldn’t agree more. Nikon is clearly the best for long lens photography now. Their telephotos are amazing and the Z9 is the perfect camera for big lenses.

Looks fantastic. Nikon definitely owns the telephoto game among the big three. If I were shooting animals/birds or sport I would absolutely choose Nikon.

Hahaha 24mp is totally fine for stills. By the way you do understand that there is basically no difference between 24 and 33mp? To double the resolution of 24mp you need 100mp. Now that is an...

Full frame 4K/60 is much better than any competitor can do. Clearly the R6ii is at the technological forefront at this price point.
-
Slow readout necessitates ibis or preferably gimbal. But handheld footage without stabilisation is a certain look, which sometimes can look amazing and feel alive. So that’s an entire genre of...
-
Also a Sony user. The R6ii is clearly a better hybrid than the A7iv. 33mp is zero meaningful difference to 24mp. Resolution doesn’t increase in a linear fashion. Going from 24 to 33 isn’t like...

Looks like Canon just released the king of the mid range. Doesn’t seem to have any big flaws like Nikon Z6ii(video cropped, slow af) and Sony A7iv (video cropped, terrible rolling shutter).
-
Should be branded with only “OM”. That would have been cool. “OM System” feels like some hydraulics or electrical component company.

Sad to see so many old haters in the comments. Seem to be older guys that write about how they used to shoot film but think that sadly it’s dead. I sense some glee there. What is really tragic is...
