  • I don't understand - are you looking for a mac mini?
  • This should cost considerably less than 2000 Euros in the USA. Have you purchased anything yet?
  • Replied in That's odd
Does it have to be a MAC (I suppose so) + can you order from the USA + what about an older model, but still much newer than yours?

That would be a problem. Unless you read and know what you are buying, the best bet it going with a business class laptops laptops like the Dell precision 5520 or HP Elitebook
  • Have you already bought? It seems like the Dell G3 isn't a good choice, especially not with an I7, according to this review , I would probably look elsewhere

    1. Are you going to rely on the laptop's screen solely? 2. Can you do any adjustments, like adding ram, SSD or even replacing the screen? 3. What is the preferred budget?
  • (-: I think that placing the fans in perpendicular direction to the length of the laptop could be better since it throws the air to one side, maybe resulting cooler air to come from the other. I ...
  • I think it was some cheap "CoolerMaster" pad. It has two fans which I don't use (and are not very useful when placed as planned). It was something like $20
  • Well, what is your laptop model? if it's recent, there is a good chance it uses the eDP connection for the panel, and then you can simply purchase a good 4K panel and install it yourself. It's ...
  • 1. Then your laptop with iGPU only has a problem. Either by design or because something is wrong (fans, thermal paste dried, some software going crazy, hogging the CPU) 2. That's what I meant and ...
  • Because heat dissipation is a problem + they usually don't use too good fans.. Have you tried a cooling pad or something similar?
  • Are you still looking for a laptop? have you found something?
  • Replied in eddr ..
Not sure I understand.. I'm trying to understand exactly what you are looking for: 1. Screen quality not important 2. Professional looks. Not "gaming" looks. Something like the XPS 9560? 3. GPU is ...
  • So, you want something with some 3D power, but that will have the "professional" looks (meaning, not something with a gaming laptop styling) Do I understand correctly?
