A satellite photographed from Houston, Texas.
A satellite going over Houston, Texas.
A very smart and talented person - Luke Phillips. On Trail Ridge Road in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
One of my favorite people, my son Scott. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Trail Ridge Road at the highest point.
This photo was unusable, the subject was too dark, until I brightened it in Apple "Photos"
Rocky Mountain National Park - it is amazing how the image can show lots of life (plants, etc) or an almost lifeless image just by changing your location by a few feet and changing your field of view.
In the lower right corner area you can see the streak made as a satellite goes through the field of view.
Geological Survey marker in Rocky Mountain National Park - the altitude marked on it is 12,000 feet? At least that.

I am not a technically gifted photographer but like many - the photo is good due to my access. Not everyone can get into this building.
Many landscape photos are good since not many photographers are dedicated enough to get up day after day and trek out to where the view is available, etc. A lot of people have gotten awards for "space" photos since they were one of a tiny number of people who could get to the right location!
