By standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Rotating it 180 degrees would be better. Imo

You are right, it looks more dramatic, thanks for the advice.

tko: It is impossible to get both the spider and moon in reasonable focus in the same shot at F8 (or F16 FF). Therefor the image is a composite of two images. As such, it violates the rules of the contest and should be disqualified.

Thank you for your comment, but the photograph is completely within the rules. There is no photoshoping (PP) of the effect.

lynmay: Cool Shot. Love the "by stander" hanging out in the background
waiting to be fed. Nice View point as well.

Thank you Lyn, it was hard work to have it right though.

robnich: Pretty marvelous photo. Well done, or should I say well caught?

Thank you for your generous comments, you have to be in the tree tops to capture it.

RuthC: I really liked your picture of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour, and was disappointed that it didn't do much, much better in the challenge. It would certainly have done so if not for the low-life sandbag voters. I love the pearlescent effect you've achieved here. Ruth :-)

Thank you Ruth for your kind complement. I think the voting should be done by a board of independent expert. Many times I see better photos that deserve top spot but ignored and some worse photos get to the top. We have to change the voting system to get a fair and objective outcome.

bluemoonman: I really like this photo, to me it looks like a child blowing a kiss to the moon.

Thanks bluemoonman, it looks like a cherub about to touch the supermoon.
