The joystick broke off my R5 and has been recently replaced by Canon. kopper

Simply save your settings first if you are worried about it... But no, the update did not change any of my R5 settings. kopper -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- pix.kopperhead.com http://www.kopperhead.com

If the Electronic Shutter doesn't have various speeds per second, then I'm not interested. In all honesty, I think Canon owes us that for our current R5s. kopper

Wonderful video and I really appreciated the excellent sound quality of the birds! kopper

Exactly why I've stayed with my EF 100-400 L II and I'm so glad that I have! I shoot with R5 and 5DSR. Great EF glass is even better with the R5. Save enough cash to even add an R7, which I'm ...

Canon just raised their prices on the non-control ring adapter to $129.xx and I'm not sure about the control ring version, but would expect it was raised too. Amazon still has some of the ...

Nice shots, and thanks for posting! I'm not having the issue(s) you described above at all on my R5. IMO it's a great lens for its intended purposes, and a steal at its price. Far exceeds my ...

I have the RF 85mm f/2 and really like it a lot. I've found it to be very versatile and have used it for many different subjects; portraits, flowers, zoo creatures, and landscapes. My current ...

No one (that I've found) is commenting on the huge size increase Adobe Denoise makes with its additional file. Three to four times the size in my tests. So a 48 MB file makes an ADDITIONAL file...

What are you using it for? I have a rental right now, and after two afternoons, I'm wondering why I rented it? Thnx in advance! kopper

I enjoy the looking and dreaming of new gear too. Canon is EXTREMELY smart at knowing all of us very well. IMO; if my R5 could have new firmware giving my MY rates of frames per second, AND ...

FWIW: in my opinion, the shots are fine for normal use, especially for someone new at macro. And only a very high level pro would even consider taking 8 to 12 hours to process a single photo. kopper

FYI: I have a client that wants a 1:1 ratio for their photos. Shooting RAW using an R5 and 5DSR, I set the aspect ratio to 1:1. Both cameras show the 1:1 ratio in the viewfinder. When ...

With my R5 and shooting RAW saved to both memory cards, the biggest "culprit" to using up battery life seems to be bursts and continuous focus (which at various times, I must use), and can drain a ...

Yes, for varying circumstances. I shoot with an R5, 5DSr, & 7D (infrared converted) and find some museums etc that will not allow "pro" cameras. For these, I use my iPhone 14 Pro Max and ...

Thank you so much for the links to your photos! Egypt has always been at the very top of my bucket list, but I am now doubting that I will ever get there. One can still dream! kopper

Hmmm, sounds strange. Only one I remember having to redo the micro adjust for was my original 100-400 L, v1. Otherwise I did check all my lenses periodically - good thing to do on a winter's day. ...
