MariusM: Would have preferred a faster, sharper lens. 2x range would have been plenty. Like a 28mm-60mm 2.8-4 lens (35mm equivalent).

24-50mm f4.0 would be fantastic!!!

TonyPM: 200d or 77d with stm lenses or a tamy 17-50 2.8.

Yes they are bigger, but I think they are cheaper and better in the end.

Comparing jumbo jet to Cesna?

VENTURE-STAR: A little late to be reviewing this camera I would have thought? A replacement can't be that far off. If the reviewer was really familiar with this camera, they would point out that the UK price of suitable chipped Canon batteries has been excessively high and has only dropped a little recently due to customer protests. The lens lacks enough range and is not very fast. Yes, you can buy the over-priced Canon G7X, which is a better camera, but it has serious issues with dust entering the lens assembly. Another option is the pleasing Sony RX100 with several mechanical failure possibilities or a Panasonic, which may also have lens sealing issues. And should you have faults, the after sales service from all three companies could be a lot better. My advice would be to buy a budget Nikon or Canon SLR, unless the size is absolutely critical. The performance is far better and there's less to go wrong.

I think the size is biggest advantage and main reason why people buy this cameras!!!

yslee1: Given the G9 hasn't been reviewed, can you really put it there? AF tracking capabilities need time to be understood and fine tuned, you can't just say it's good enough in a list that includes the D5 and D500 without a proper review, can you?

I amsure they know what they are talking about!

barrym1966: out of these two, the mirrorless body if used professionally over a period of time is more likely to cause medical issues with your hands and finger joints... Another thing to consider when reviewing things. Smaller isnt always better

That's why I use my Panasonic only on occasion!!! Smaller sensor-smaller joints pain! :)

Yes! Imagine FF compact with 35mm f2.8 lens that costs $1500.00 Who needs 10 frames per second and other perks like "can shoot 50jpeg+raw before it slows down...?" We need new camera makers!!!

PhotoKhan: The only reason this scaremongering is being propagated is because, true, we're talking about a cheap platform for undescriminated data collection but one the US has no lead on.

What do you think your Apple devices are doing on behalf of the American Intelligence agencies?

If there was a Stars&Stripes countrrpart to DJI, as advanced and successful as they are, you wouldn't be hearing a peep about the subject.

You will hear the drone above your house in one, two, three,..CHINA wants to know what camera you are using...
