Even PL 5 supports the A7rV but neither 5 or 6 supports these M and S "Raw" files. But the app should still open and give an error message so it sounds like something else is going on. Are you ...

Hogwash. Plenty of Sigma and Tamron lenses are more than capable on the new cameras. They may not have the features of a GM but optical quality can be nearly as good. And I'll take 90-95% quality ...

Be sure to check focus accuracy and alignment. There's a chance it suffered some damage after, what sounds like, a pretty bad fall.
-
It's not a bug. Like all image related software, Apple software requires an update to support the image files from new cameras. And Apple hasn't provided that update for the A7rV yet. That's all.

The Rokinon branded version is $539 in the US when you buy direct at buyrokinon.com. A nice deal for a very nice lens.

I use the 70-105 range more than the 20-24 so I'm not swapping out my 24-105. Still, 20-70 is definitely a useful range for some.

Wrong. DXO also updated PL 5 with support for the A7r V...5.7 I believe.
-
If they didn't limit the capabilities of third party lenses there would be little reason for most people to pay the Sony prices and they know that.
-
I don’t think it was ever $610 since you can only use one code. Believe me I tried using both. AF is absolutely fine on my bodies. Great lens for the money.
-
That won't help. Photolab won't open a DNG file if it's from an unsupported camera. I have this same issue with some of my Samsung files.
-
As posted on another forum, code BACKWELCOME10 gets you another 10% off the $730 price on buyrokinon.com. This lens is a steal at $657.

I have to disagree with you on this point. I have both the rII and R III and the AF is definitely better on the 3…especially the eye af. The 3 received a firmware update that allows eye af to be ...

The Tamron 70-180 lacks OS but is otherwise great. V1 of the Sony 70-200 has OS but is otherwise not so great. If it was me it’s the Tamron or Sony V2.

If you buy the dock directly from Samyang US you can save 10% with code OFF10. https://samyangus.com/collections/auto-focus/products/sony-e-lens-station-for-samyang-auto-focus-lenses I ordered the ...

Replying to my own post, this previous post claims to use the XT-16 with the Ad200 so maybe it will work.
-
The XT-16 doesn't work with the AD100 according to this page http://godox.com/product-d/XTR16-XTR16S.html but I wonder if say a Nikon or Sony trigger would fire the flash in manual mode. I'm curious.
-
That's TTL support. The question is would work in manual mode with one of the triggers.

This 2 pack of Lexar 128GB UHS-II cards is a nice deal: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1481581-REG/lexar_lsd128cbna16672_sdhc_sdxc_1667x_256gb_uhs_ii.html

If money is no object, get the A1 and have the best of both worlds.
