Go figure how these things go. Take as an example, a new EF 100mm f2.8 L macro is today more expensive than its RF equivalent. I saw that a used clean 5D IV has gotten way cheaper than a few ...

True on those points. What I meant is I'd prefer to have a more balanced product. Seeing the comments many do. I realistically prefer to have the older 26mpx sensor rather than the 40 if I could ...

I guess it will ” largely” have the autofocus features of the X-H2? I’m still confused as to what sensor it’ll get but I’m banking on the 40mpx of the X-H2 and X-T5. Video features not concerned. ...

Sure you can. Manual mode with auto iso, you can program the front and back dials for shutter speed and aperture, if you don’t want to reach for the dedicated shutter speed knob on top. The ...

You’re in the wrong forum. Should be in eos R talk.

Thanks Chris! Indeed it did get worse when I was in colder temperature on Sunday. Yesterday got better. Also may need to clean the screen.

I noticed two days ago that the touchscreen is getting glitchy, happened yesterday as well. Not quite responsive, in all cases. Either moving focus point with my eye to the evf or not, going ...

I minimised my budget when getting a small Fuji kit alongside my main Canon gear. Got an X-A10 with 23mm f1.4 R for street and low light, as a more inconspicuous kit for that purpose. The lens on ...

Has it been five months since I posted this?! Time sure does fly. Well I did finally get a Fuji X-A10 (with 23mm f1.4 R) for low light and street shooting. I like it better than the X-A1. The ...

Indeed. Two batteries are all I need for a day's shooting, if it's only stills. Don't shoot video. I guess its quality lies also in that it is pocketable to some extent. An eventual successor ...

Haven’t tried the XF 15-45 but Fuji generally have better performance at high iso. But take it by itself, without comparing, the G1X III is no slouch and outputs very satisfying results, either at ...

Although I'd say I'm satisfied with my G1X III as a general use walk around compact camera, I'd sure like to see a Mark IV. Then again I wouldn't be able to afford it before long.

WJMWJM - I'm not understanding what you have typed but I correct myself nonetheless. The lens goes from 20 to 70mm. So it's an ultra wide to short tele. Not mid tele.
-
Not a Sony user but this is an eye catcher for a one solution ultra wide to mid telephoto lens. Specs are sweet. Have to see next about optics, possible digital corrections. At least the lens can...

I like compact lenses. I’d like to see a new 60mm f2.4 but 1:1 macro. It’s ok if a bit larger than the first lens but should be considerably smaller and lighter than the 80mm. Also a 12mm f2.8 is a ...

The goal is to soften the harshness of the flash, whatever the power output.

Thanks! Yes this is what I noticed. Turn exposure preview off. Keep white balance. I am using flash mostly for macro applications. Use simple ways to dampen or diffuse the flash.
-
Yes this is what I noticed. Thank you. I found it easier to work with built in flash in manual mode after some trials.
-
I can it's just that I'm not used to this method of camera working. With my Canon it's simpler. I have the flash up, this means I want to use flash to correct my exposure and the camera dials ...
