seems like the industries sweet spot is currently in 35mm sensors. to me it looks like there is pretty much the same 24mp sensor in every apsc camera. to differentiate the bodies, manufacturers...

have been using m43 from the g3 on. now in the form of the bmpcc4k. currently taking a break from m43 photography (doing video only) as the sensor tech seems behind. the size doesn't seem a problem...

hi fotoni, just download some of their test footage and see for yourself that this is digital film and very very far from what even good video is. I like the ETTR which would never work with video...

raw, which requires a completetly different workflow. as a non pro, and even for many pros a nice canon spitting out nice colours without much postproduction is suitable, like slide or reversal...

even when properly lit? the current sensor doesn't look noisy to me at all, so I expect the BSI sensor to be even better...

the new 100mp sony sensor will be BSI and most likely real 16bit (unlike the "interpolatd" 16bit). too bad it's also not going to be 44 x 44. we'll soon find it in all "small" medium format...
