Mikity's current gear

Canon PowerShot G9
Fujifilm FinePix F31fd
Olympus Tough TG-4
My introduction to Canon's "G" series. I really started to experiment with this camera. It's long been superseded but for handiness and build quality it's hard to beat. I still use it for underwater photography.
A true classic. Its low light abilities were unsurpassed for what seemed like ages. The rest of the camera was pretty unremarkable though.
Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II
Olympus OM-D E-M10 II
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm F1.8
My favourite "walkabout" lens. Nice large field of view, and the manual zoom clutch means I can easily move to infinity for astrophotography.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 45mm F1.8
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-100mm F4.0 IS Pro
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 Pro
The ideal travel lens? But heavy!
This lens is awesome! Ever since I bought it it's pretty much stayed on my body permanently.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm F4-5.6 II
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F2.8 Pro
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm F2.8 Macro
This lens I have used the least of them all, although when I do I tend to come up with some intriguing closeup shots of insects or leaves. Still not sure whether that merits me owning a dedicated macro lens...
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6
Olympus M.Zuiko ED 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7 II
A very handy zoom range - from ultra-wide to almost normal. Wish the f/ratio was a little faster though.
While I appreciate the impressive reach, sharpness is quite an issue, especially at longer focal lengths.

Canon PowerShot SX50 HS
My first ever digital camera! It served me well. For some reason all the images it takes are purple now :p
Takes gorgeous pictures. Too bad it's so slo-o-ow. Best to stick to landscapes!
I bought this in a rush of focal length lust :) Takes great pictures, as long as there's plenty of light.
Olympus OM-D E-M10
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm 1:4-5.6
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4-5.6 R
My first ever interchangeable lens camera!
Awesome travel lens (provided the light is decent).
Surprisingly sharp, for the price.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm 1:2
Panasonic Lumix G 20mm F1.7 II ASPH
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ
Not cheap - but great image quality, as well as build quality. I used to use it for astrophotography before I got the 12-40mm Pro.
Great value for money, great in low light. As you probably already know, not always the fastest to focus.
Convenient and compact, an ideal walk-around lens. Not the sharpest though.
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 25mm F1.8
A great normal length lens, sharp and quick to focus. I ended up selling this though since I already had enough lenses in this focal range. For walkabout I prefer the 17mm.
