Thanks for sharing, your timing is great as I've just been looking at flash set ups for macro photography, specifically the Godox MF12. Your shots have a great natural look about them, great work!

Love the 100-400! Also got some cracking shots of the moon with it, all hand held.

Great shots! Some of my favourite intimate flora shots have been taken using the PL100-400, such a brilliant lens.

Having only just recently got my mitts on a mki verson, I've yet to really put it through it's paces, but I've been impressed with it so far. Kicking myself for not getting a copy sooner!

So after weeks of trying to find cheap enough secondhand copy of the 14-140 mkii, I eventually decided to go for the mki version, which I managed to get off eBay for the bargain price of £200 ...

Hah that's exactly what I'd write! Pity there's a few hundred quid involved! I think I'll probably end buying both the 14-140 and 12-100 in the end :D

Cheers guys, the feedback has at least narrowed my search down to the Oly 12-100mm and the Pany 14-140. At this point the 2nd hand price is definitely playing a factor now...the Pany costs pocket ...

I think I'll scrub the 12-200 off the list, but got eyes on the 14-140 now! I think I can sacrifice a 2mm :)
-
I was ideally looking for something a bit wider, but the 14-140 might be a good option. Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I was trying to avoid going into my rucksack for kit. But saying that, I do have a G95 that I could stick a lens on and use a carry strap. Could do with the work out! :)

Hey guys, I've been looking at getting a new wide/zoom to go on my G9 when hiking. I've had the 100-400mm pretty much permanently attached recently (like the reach for shooting wildlife), but ...

I've got both lenses, the step up in IQ quality from the 100-300 to 100-400 was huge for me. I really enjoyed using the 100-300, but the IQ just wasn't quite there (suffered bad CA as mentioned), ...

The 60mm is such a good lens and pretty inexpensive I'd just snag one and upgrade if anything better comes out.

This thread has had me in stitches! :D First thought, flying insects. You can see lines crossing over which are the wing tips. Google 'flying rods'.
