daddyo: Raid is excellent! I use it to kill all manner of roaches and unwanted pest bugs. Their wasp and hornet spray works well too.
I don't understand all the debate here, if you don't like Raid try Black Flag.

Here we go again the whole Raid vs Black Flag debate...

I prefer Mortein, I know it's a Odorless spray and traditionalists say odor makes you feel more connected to the spray.

Glad that clears that up! Now time to move on to the whole 'Nike on' 'Nik on' 'Neek on' pronunciation...

Bokeh? Bookah? Bokkay? it's all just a blur and the debate about it's pronunciation has become one big circle of confusion!

pshummer: I was guessing that the price of Sigma 135 f1.8 would be less than $1500 and It came out to be quite close. Brand new Nikon 135 DC f2 costs $1391 @ B&H so I would say that they priced it right. I own a Tamron 85 f1.8 VC and it's bigger and heavier than Nikon 85 f1.8 but it doesn't bother me. I rented Nikon 105 f1.4E for my photo shoot and I carried it all day and it didn't bother me. I used my Tamron 15-30 f2.8 VC all day for my vacation trip and its weight and size didn't bother me. Rather, I enjoyed taking great shots with these lenses and to me, that's what it counts. I have Nikon 135 DC f2 and just like Sigma 135 f1.8, it's a specialty lens and it's not for everybody. For those who appreciate what it can do, I think the Sigma will shine.

Yes, but the Canon 135 f2.0 was released 21 years ago so Canon have already recouped their development costs years ago...

LarryK: Hey, thanks Panasonic for obsoleting three of my lenses.

Fortunately, I had already moved on to Olympus's superior counterparts, glad I did.

Didn't realize Panasonic released a firmware update that suddenly made your lenses stop working immediately after the new lenses were announced...

Quick Canon! Halt the production of the EF-S 24mm immediately!! David Hurt doesn't want one which means nobody else in the entire world would possibly want one either!

Dr_Jon - I meant the build quality of the 400 DO II

Canon DO lenses have a green ring, the build quality is the same as the L series lenses.

Being part of the green ring club is more exclusive than the red ring club!

24-105/4L is available for $600 off kits all the time on ebay.

Just wait until the 'white box' version floods the market

Anastigmat: Does the market still exist for a high end APS-C model costing almost 2000 dollars in 2014?

Not everyone wants a full frame camera with the big and expensive lenses!

APS-C cameras also have wider AF point coverage vs the clustered AF points in the middle of the frame on the full frame cameras, and the crop factor is beneficial to those who shoot sports, wildlife, aviation etc.

igorek7: @dpreview staff

Minimum shutter speed is 60 minutes (not 60 sec)!

It is also specifically mentioned in the Panasonic "Picture quality" description: "Plus, superior noise reduction allows max. 60 min long exposure"

60 Second is the minimum shutter speed before going into Bulb mode and the 60 minute long exposure is the limit shooting in Bulb mode.

Anyway, good to have a lens review :-)

@Thorbard It' a EF lens so it's compatible with all EOS cameras, not just APS-C
