Very kind of you to share your impressions.

Thank you very much for your help. Actually I want to understand the AF speed of that lens. My 50-140 does the job. The speed is important becaus a swimmer "disappears in the water and then comes ...
-
I had raised your question some time ago, with no response. Glad we got some. I'm interested in this lens as well, specially in the sport scenes, I'm in swimming. Hope we get some more experiences

Great shot Morris, I'm impressed how the H2S sticks to the eye. I guess you were doing paning to follow the duck. Well done
-
Is nobody using this combo ?
-
Thanks Bob, currently I have my 50-140 with 1.4x and 2x TC's. So I shall be confident to add the H2S
-
Hi Bob, could you appreciate the speed of the AF with the 2x TC. Thanks
-
-
This was my understanding. I'd rather take all available Mpix and crop where I need to. So H2 might have an edge on H2s here.
-
If I read you well, if in post I take a 1.29 crop of 40Mpix, I reach the same IQ Thanks
-
Is there a difference in quality when cropping in the body setup or just doing in on the RAW picture in post ?
-
Thanks Morris, I will probably move to H2s, coming from XT2. I use the 50-140 with TC 1.4 but it's of limited range. I'm taking picture of swimmers and in an olympic pool you need a bit more reach ...
-
Would there anything in the pipe regarding a MKII lens ?
-
Morris, when you talk about AF speed, did you on the H2S ? Thanks
-
well the point was to have the speed of H2S and if needed a hi-res picture
-
Would it be possible by firmware upgrade to allow H2S to pixel shift images. As it depends on the presence of IBIS, I guess it might be. ANy thoughts.
-
Hi, Has anybody some experience with this combo, especially the VC working with IBIS and the AF speed. Thanks for your comments
-
Has anybody tested the Tamron 150-500 on the H2S ? - Is the AF up to expectations compared to native Fuji - Stabilization : is it working with the inbody IBIS Thanks for your experiences
-
Thanks Tim, Yes my first step is the lens and then the body. For the tamron 150-500 we shall wait some reviews/experiences.
-
Thanks Craig, you might be right
