I had raised your question some time ago, with no response. Glad we got some. I'm interested in this lens as well, specially in the sport scenes, I'm in swimming. Hope we get some more experiences

This was my understanding. I'd rather take all available Mpix and crop where I need to. So H2 might have an edge on H2s here.

If I read you well, if in post I take a 1.29 crop of 40Mpix, I reach the same IQ Thanks

Is there a difference in quality when cropping in the body setup or just doing in on the RAW picture in post ?

Thanks Morris, I will probably move to H2s, coming from XT2. I use the 50-140 with TC 1.4 but it's of limited range. I'm taking picture of swimmers and in an olympic pool you need a bit more reach ...

well the point was to have the speed of H2S and if needed a hi-res picture

Would it be possible by firmware upgrade to allow H2S to pixel shift images. As it depends on the presence of IBIS, I guess it might be. ANy thoughts.
