keeponkeepingon: Question:

Can you take a picture while taking a movie?

I was totally blown away when I found out my A6000 can't do this while every other point and shoot, smartphone, dslr and mirrorless camera I own can.

Is it a sony quirk or just an A6000 thing?

A6000 is like ancient now ... I have 2 of them just live with the limits.

Fair play. Phenomenal piece of innovation but a bit not something DP Reviewers are going to be thrilled about. Lets hope it doesnt take off!

What is it with Sony and JPGs. If Fuji can render lovely colour straight from camera why does Sony make horrid colour like my A6000 and as it seems here on the A99. Is it too much to expect?

I find it a dreary design and the fabric i really dont like. Its a bit 1980. For the price I would want to be well impressed.

Shallow depth of thought. I wouldn't care if its better or less good than the Caniks, its so damn beautiful. Im sure i could live with its idiosyncrasies in return its aesthetics. I have too see how much i can get for a kidney first though.

Dream job for many, what a thing to be able to do. Such a huge place and GPS references to get exactly what he wants, right time of the day and so on. Brilliant experience and well, perfect execution.

Clearly Nikons in the light not sound business. This video is a lot more enjoyable with sound on mute. Some great and poerrful imagery, Nikon is a global brand everyone knows the name. I've never owned one yet.

That photo is dreary and not interesting in any way i totally fail to see how it would impress anyone or need any skill to capture such a shot. Bored.
